As far as I am aware there are no lift out facilities there so where do you guys go for annual lift out & maintenance ? Sea trials on Wednesday & then no doubt putting a few bits right then she finally goes to the Island.

There is also Clarence Yard and Medina Yard, both of which could get you under cover if needed. Or up river a bit at Island Harbour.

The Yacht Haven does lifts.

What boat is it? Are you moving to the Island or just the boat?

If your a tightwad and the boat can dry out on scrubbing piles, or if you just like messing about on the river, then might be worth joining Medina Mariners.

Pete as others have mentioned ,Kingston marine are very good and probably cheapest in area, been using them for last 5/6 years, always extra careful with your boat, will collect your craft and return it to your mooring I believe ,but have never used them for this, Realy good bunch and always very helpful.
Just to add that Dean and reddyhoff now own a marine on the Hamble , that do lift outs plus boat maintenance , unfortunately for us they have a max length that we are over.

Yes, they are probably using it but we have had since April when I expected to be there. Expensive business this being Ill !
