I've just looked at the Google Earth images of the islands on the Versemeer, I didn't realise how big they are and how sandy. I think I've got this link right...

I guess we're going to have to share the Versemeer with those Dutch kids. We have a secret weapon though - she's nearly 3 years old.
The little inner marks (2.5 meters) disappear at the end of the season, but should be back by Easter.Versemeer: the approaches to these islands require some care if you're not to hit the offlying sand banks. Not a prob, just watch out for the little inner marks and follow them religiously.
Last time we used the Supermarket at Kortgene. I thought it was expensive then but that was 4 years ago and the Euro was about 1.5 to the £. Maybe we should take all our food with us this time!!!Only problem with the veersmeer is getting food stocks, Veer itself is very good for buying things for putting on your wall but there are no food shops that i know of, a very nice English bloke on a large Dutch Gin Palace took me down to the Supermarket just outside Middleburg in his Jag (yes his man had dropped it off for him!) so we were ok, but a bike is essential, unless anyone can advise otherwise?

This is all sounding a bit off-putting:
No food
No water and a 1.7m fin keel
Please tell me it's going to be great. I do plan to go north from the Veersmere.
