East coast surveyor

But is he, shall we say.. 'good value'. I wouldnt dare use the word cheap, but i do want him to be competitive, I have emailed him as i will others when they come up.

Thanks

We had Martin survey the boat after the refit. He found - potentially serious - stuff that had been missed both by the surveyor when we bought the boat and by the boat yard.
I think that this alone has saved me thousands further down the line.

If you really want to find out what condition your boat is in, Martin will do a thorough job.
If you just require a quick write-up for the insurance, there may be cheaper around.

Spot on with that statement! Martin does a VERY thorough job. He has surveyed my past three boats and quite frankly I wouldn't consider using anyone else!

Hi, folks, I return (maybe briefly, given the way work is)

Without wishing to hijack this thread, I need a surveyor for a boat I'm buying in Woodbridge. The offer was accepted yesterday and I'd like to get completed asap. Any recommendations for that neck of the woods?
See post 2, Martin Evans
