It's that time for me to replace the standing rigging, it amazes me the difference in prices that people quote. For 5mm 1x19 the cheapest was £2.40 + vat per metre the more expensive at £3.80 + vat. The swage end fittings varied quite a bit too!

I'm not looking so much for economy but good value quality. Anyone here know a company or rigger I should try?

Another vote for TS. Did my Dehler 35 last year.Good price, good advice, good quality, good service.

Have a look at S3i (http://www.s3i.co.uk/marine.php)
They have 5mm 1x19 for £1.39.
They made the new rigging for Sirenia earlier this year.
I had the top fittings swaged on and used the swageless fittings at deck level.
This allowed me to set up the mast and make the rigging the correct length.
I think that you can send that the old rigging and they will make up a new set to match.
I could not do that as I had a new mast.

I was very satisfied with their service.

I only use Sta-Lok [swage and swage-less] fittings.

Where abouts are you based? May get our standing rigging replaced this winter, and those rates look quite good!

Has done all rigging work on Full Circle since new, including original commissioning.

One has enough on ones plate @ present, annual berth, haul-out,christmas loss of income due the w (b) ankers

I only use Sta-Lok for a number of reasons.

They are local but mainly they offer good products of exceptional quality. Their customer service is second to none and they have good stock levels and therefore I do not have to let my customers down.
