Got a chance to look at the latest edition in the clubhouse last night.
Very impressed both with binding and the considerably updated content.
Regretably the owner was not prepared to let me borrow it on long term basis and will obviously now have to buy my own copy.

"We" did try to arrange for a boat or two to go in over the late bank holiday only to be told there really was no availabilty.
Assumed that we might have done "something " on a previous visit.
The club member who walked off the end of one of the pontoons and then had to be extracted by the emergency services was not even going there this time.

The main cohort was on a weather foreecast on/off trip to Ramsgate .
However one club memeber has an old Dutch Tub frequently overtaken by one legged seagulls and we had to find him somewhere to go.
Later discreet enquiries suggested they were possibly short of staff ?
We do have a habit of doing a " Hobbit" ie booking in 3 or 4 boats which then somehow creep up in small doses into 10 or 15 boats.
