Other then Monopoli , brindisi and Otrenrio as any one have any other suggestion where one can anchor or get a transit free berth on the east coast of Italy .
Thanks guys

Otranto is great but not that sheltered! Don't know where you'd anchor or get a free berth in Brindisi nowadays.
I've used the outer south harbour at Bari, just inside the detached breakwater, or try alongside the outer wall.
No anchoring in the north commercial harbour I'm sure.
I've also anchored in Vieste harbour but suspect that won't be tolerated either now.
But in settled weather you can spend the night in the bay south of the lighthouse.
I've several times used Monopoli, anchoring in the north of the harbour off the Lega Navale.
Barletta and Molfetta and Mola di Bari might be possible for a v. short night, esp in a shoal draft yacht!!!!
Altho I would't leave the boat!!
