Not far off.... the far end of RHYC marina, about 100' off the shoreline... There's a big spit just upstream of the last set of pontoons and my aproach proved to be a bit shallow in more than one respect!.... fortunately a number of years of east coast experience meant that i'd spotted the risk, and so was going very slowly!And he's always boasting he can take his lifting keel anywhere.

Shotley Spit. It's not named for a geographic feature, Spit is the depth at MLWS.

some of those East Coast lift keels need to retract more
The problem with lift keelers.... They instill a belief that you won't run aground....
i had to admit to going aground, i do sail on the East Coast after all
