East coast marinas/ yards that permit 'liveaboarding'?

I'm fascinated by all the posters here who maintain that there are no residential marina moorings on the East Coast. I can only think that you're looking at the wrong marinas.
I've already given you The Embankment Marina - About. Residential or leisure Thames moorings (Gravesend)
I also offer you Residential Marine | Want To Live Afloat (Port Werburgh, Hoo, on the Medway)

Residential marinas are very different from transient leisure marinas, but they really do exist!
See post #19. Of course residential marinas exist - but for seagoing boats very small numbers of berths compared with the total number of berths, and if in desirable places are expensive and have long waiting lists. The 2 you quote are aimed at large static houseboats and converted commercial vessels, not cruising yachts which is what this thread was about.

The reality is that the vast majority of marina berths are not residential and those boat owners that do live for extended periods on their boats are doing so "unofficially" with no rights or security.
