Just enjoyed a great evening as new members of the East Coast Forum who held there laying up supper held at Burnham Swallowtail.
As Motor boaters we were a bit apprehensive as the Forum is made up of mainly yachties, but that was soon put to one side, we were made to feel really welcome from the off, every effort was made to make it a great evening, even down to some rather unusual pressies for certain members, the wife included, she has a new name now ‘’Mrs. Bling’’ and acquired a glow in the dark necklace great. Nice to see children being invited as boating is a family experience
Well done ''Full Circle'' and ''Morgana'' for organizing it (there forum names are there boat names which I think is a good idea)
Look forward to meeting you all next year.
After reading a lot of negative comments from previous post about Yachties and MBOS it is nice to see that with a little effort we can get along.

Went on a foray to the East Coast and Oostende last weekend with a couple of other Solent bods, courtesy of Morgana, and we had a great time, even though there wasn't much wind (I like to sail as well as mobo). Huge fun. I've known Morgana for a while but I've also now met CPD with his unfeasibly large wine glasses and strange, coin-based entertainments and Jim "diary management is my forte" FullCircle. Top blokes, all of them. :)
