Meeting place is not where the marker is on the maps link above but the big public car park to the west alongside the canal. I couldn't work out how to move the marker!
Am I right in thinking this is a noon start and afternoon finish ? If so cant make it, but if there is to be an evening drink too, well that could be a different matter ..................

I would walk 5 miles to avoid a 3 mile walk for exercise sake. And Gyms are a good idea so that you can spot the people you dont want to know, becase they all worship at the gym. Easy.
Larry - perhaps you could warn them but they should be able to cope with 10 extras in the winter without a firm booking shouldn't they (not that I even know where we are going!)
