James, spoke to Miriam just this morning - final list being emailed on Thursday....... further details to come on here later this eve.

More Info .............

For those going via boat please be aware that we have discounted rates for the Friday and Saturday - quote "East Coast Forum" to Miriam in the lock tower and that will get you ticked off the list.

The "Open Day" activities start at 1pm although I guess we will all be arriving at different times, so perhaps meet up throughout the day ? - There wil be a BBQ there. I am sure the bar will be open too.

Dinner is booked for sit down at 8pm at The Bristol Arms.

Thursday evening is the cut off date for providing lists of berths required and also menu choices, so if you haven't already done so then please do so now. This means it is not too late at all for those who haven't expressed an interest to join in, to do so. Someone (Jim ??) put up a post recently asking whoi actually read the ECF and it was really interesting to see how many people do. Clearly, travel can be an issue, but if you can .................. join in ............. always nice to put a face to a name.

I will be there Friday pm with the clan aboard Mr.Tinkles - I have to say, she sails fantastically (a sail boat, but not as we know it !). Come over for a beer /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif.

See you there.

Sorry, forgot to add :

To make life easier for the bar, and more "equitable" for those with children, we will run two tabs for dinner (food/drinks), one for grown ups and the other for children, divied accordingly. Feel free however to opt out. Mr.Moodysabre is hereby requested to take care of the beancounting, having done such a marvelous job at previous events.

Brilliant Alan. You're a star for getting all this organised!

Can I also gently request that we don't spend the whole evening in the Bristol Arms, as there will be a live band at the Shipwreck in the evening, which will be fun, and there is also space for the kids to safely charge around outside and let their hair down a bit (and get good and tired /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif)

As Mr MoodySabre has performed magnificently as Bob Cratchett on previous occasions, and bear in mind he retired in order to cease piling beans into tidy piles, I will, as I have done chuff all for this one, be the Hon Treas for this event. My style varies from Mr Sabre, as it is more likened to Bernie Madoff.

I bought Microsoft Money, but there was sod all in the box except for a mouldy manual and a CD. What a swiz.

/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif a night off as promised last year /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif thanks Jim. Would you like me to lend you $50billion in advance! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I shall pay him the interest out of the later receipts. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Alan,

There is a very remote chance that we might brave our first long trip with AJ this weekend and join you. Do you think the Bristol Arms could take 2 Vreny's + Mini Vreny at short notice?

We really do need to get AJ to love Vreny as he seems to have ideas about a bigger boat
