Just seen on the Spanish TV that not only Algeria had a quake but a smaller one
in the Balearics caused a bit of havoc when a ensuing tidal wave swamped and sank over a hundred boats.Admittedly most of them were small but some bigger
yachts and a medium size catamaran were also sunk.
Should give the insurance co´s a good reason to justify increased premiums.

In fact the epicentre of the Algerian quake was under the sea causing the tidal wave which damaged the boats in the Balearics.

The African / Europe fault line runs just off the coast and Africa is apparently encroaching on Europe at the rate of half a centimetre per year.

Many people are forecasting an earthquake on the Côte d'Azur next.
