Woken up just after 5 this morning. Thought it was SWMBO shaking me to stop the snoring but it wasn't. The bed was moving sideways back and forth or so it seemed.

I slept through it but grandaughter woke up with house shaking we live about 50km N of Lisbon.
All new houses here are designed to resist eathquakes but it means none have a DPC. We have outer walls some 2 to 3m out from house walls forming a corridor around the basement.
