If your club intend rallying to Ashmount House in 2016 then get your bookings in quick. The Mayday Bank Holiday has already been booked by the newly formed Harleyford MYC and August Bank holiday has been reserved by the Freeman Owners Club.

As an aside. It was interesting to see several joint club rallies in 2015 which seemed to go exceptionally well. I wonder if this could be a future trend along with a noticeably decrease in the size of boats.

That was the old TVR weekend, I wonder if that is relevant with the "new" Harleyford members. I hope they still have their marquee.

I'm planning ahead here, how many Cruisers can you currently fit on your moorings, as I would consider a club cruise to your esteemed location!

I accept the usual condition conditions, in view of the wonderful company and BBQ facility... :encouragement:

Doubled and tripled up, we once managed 32 boats. This was an Oxford Ditch Rally when John Blake was Commodore and the club was steaming like the Golden Arrow. The Upper Thames had a rally here (last year?) where they mustered 28 boats. Here too they were doubled and tripled up. Usually though rallies are about 8 - 14 boats.
It is important to note. Many clubs have their own Marquees which they erect. Some even arrange to have a portable Pooper on site. This allows for members and/or their guests to come by car if they wish. It's also not unknown to have the odd caravan and even Camper Van (RVs) to attend.

You just need to get the skippers to get their crew out of bed a bit earlier than they're used to!

Well guyz. Today I lashed out and purchased a Diary from the Pound Shop to write bookings in. Another 99p I have no way of recovering
