I was amused/appalled by a photo illustrating the effect of the heatwave on river levels which showed the Orwell near Levington at LW. !!
Careless journalism at best or just plain stupidity/ignorance?
I have written my first ever letter to the editor to point out the error.

Or perhaps through their logic, this evaporation will balance out the anticipated rise of sea levels caused by global warming. ?
