Witnessed this machine again today. The team spent about 20mins at the site and then moved onto Kingston.
Apparently the stream speed was 2.5m/sec. Not sure what that is in old money.

When the EA truck left a Russian tv crew took over. The reporter was about 2 paces from certain death.
He was standing on the cobbled car park that serves The Anglers.

LOL the bow end comes off it!!!! I'm loving the optimism of the "If found" message..... But more importantly.... WTF does it DO?????

I'll give the EA a clue..... f'king deeper than normal and t'wat'ing along a hell of a lot faster than normal.... now where's my sandbags?????

2.5 metres /sec = 9 km/hour = 4.86 knots - surely the EA could ensure that the river complies with its own speed limit ! :D :D :D

Please note that this is - or is intended to be HUMOUR !!![/QUOT

Only 4.86 knots? My boat does 6. Should be fun.

Yes the bow comes off - it wouldn't fit in their truck otherwise!
I asked the man with the remote controller what it does and he gave me a lot of info. 95% of it I didn't understand. Its something to do with the Doeppler effect and pinging soundwaves back and forth.
I was surprised at the speed he gave - I thought it seemed a lot faster than that.
