I decided to have a go at pre-ordering my Thames river license on Tuesday to save hanging around too long when we arrive on the river.
Given the cutbacks and difficulties etc that the EA are experiencing, I must admit I thought it was going to be a fairly painful process.
Reality was, the phone was answered extremely quickly on my initial enquiry, they then called back when they said they would and I had my license PDF'd to me <3 Hours after my initial enquiry.
I then had a further query (my fault, didn't realise that a 2 week ticket from Friday would expire on a Thursday) where upon, once again, both by email and phone the staff were extremely quick, polite, thorough and efficient in explaining things.
Not a great deal of point to this post, I know, but praise due in my (one and only) experience!
