Spent Bank Holiday weekend on the river - Windsor to Kingston and back over 5 days, and displayed “SayNoTo5.7%” posters, Surprused how many boaters seemed completely unaware of these proposals and the consultation. Whilst moored at Kingston quite a few passers by stoppped to ask what it was about so a good opportunity to raise awareness.
Consultation closes 30th August - tomorrow. If you haven’t yet responded DO IT NOW !

Just done on my phone sitting here at Abingdon. Found very skewed towards their view of the world, particularly the 16 items in order of merit which didn't include ensuring locks work. Would have made most of rest all 16th but couldn't.
