Try mooring up by the Fairmile on a Saturday night and then get awakened by the rocking and rolling from the wash as your boat climbs up the bank before 7:00am on the Sunday. If this doesn't wake you up then the loudhailers do.

And then 20 mins later they come back the other way.

Now too be fair I've always found the Leanders to be courteous; and the club that is a few miles up above Abingdon on the left hand side.(can't recall the name)

Last time I was up that way, a few years ago now, the behaviour of the Wallingford lot left a lot to be desired. Some really ripe language too, but as it was directed at a (in this case, apparently innocent) narrowboat, I was in a bit of a quandary as to whether to take offence or not /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
