e-borders is almost certainly illegal as the 24hour notice is effectively requiring 'permission' from the government to go abroad. Its going to make to life very interesting in my job (aircrew) as we go places with about 1 hours notice - not 24!
My guess is it will be quietly dropped - or reworked pretty soon!

Richard Littlejohn on e-borders????

In the Richard Littlejohn column in today's the Daily Mail he says that an e-borders return will have to be made to go to the Isle of White.

Does he know something we don't?
