The Dutch have a bigger problem than boats unloading crap into their inland waters - the bloom that appears on the Ijselmeer every summer is testimony to the far greater probs created by intensive agriculture. The most massive algaic spreads in Europe...

I know this English chap that keeps his boat in Middleburg so he will find out exactly what the Dutch will be doing when he goes over there soon. Apparently also there is a company making plastic bags with zips that can be put inside the heads bowl and the black waste deposited in, zipped up, then disposed of ashore! Sounds nice!
