As a non-Dutch, I have a Dutch registered boat under the ICP "International Certificaat Voor pleziervaartuigen" scheme obtained through a Dutch company who provided the required Dutch address and applied for the certificate in my name, www.boatnautic.com
Their web site is not working any more. I also tried sending an email but it says "recipient mailbox full"..

Recently, the Netherlands Telecommunication agency dropped the requirement of a six month contract with a Dutch marina to issue a radio licence to "foreigners", the licence can now be requested by anyone, with the same requirements as the ICP registration document.

As I cannot find the www.boatnautic.com agency any more, I am looking for another Dutch company offering the same service, or possibly a Dutch national/resident who might help me in getting: a)a ship radio licence and callsign, and b)MMSI number. No need of ATIS. All costs covered together with a reasonable fee. I have found one company so far but they seem to be geared to superyachts as they ask for *huge* amounts of money for something that seems essentially free.

FWIW, details should be available here

Any suggestions or help gratefully received

Are you not in possession of a UK, or other country, VHF licence? When I lived in Holland for seven years I only ever had the UK licence, inspected several times by authorities without question. My boat was UK flagged, which might make a difference.

I just contacted them, they said their web site is being updated and -despite the fact that until yesterday they indicated a 25 euro fee for the licence- now the required fee for the *licence only* is 380 euro..

thank you anyway :)

vyv,
yes I have a French VHF licence, but as I am contemplating to re-flag into Dutch, I'd need a licence and new MMSI number issued by the Netherlands..
