Dutch Canals Navionics Charts.

We have booked a boat on the Dutch canals around Sneek Friesland for next June. I intend to download the Navionic's App for tablets before we go, (It's free for 2 weeks). The Navionic's site gives a list of suggested tablets. Has anyone any suggestions for a budget 10inch tablet that is suitable for their charts..

Navionics worked brilliantly for my Dutch canal cruise in April. So I would thoroughly recommend it. I run it on a 10 inch Ipad Pro which I needed to keep permanently connected to its charger to stop the screen going dark every few minutes. Also, on full screen brightness I was still able to see it in strong sun light.

I did exactly the same (except mine is the paid version,) worked extremely well.
I just use a refurbished Lenovo something or other, available from Argos via ebay for around £90.00.

I'm not sure if its the same seller, but mine was certainly an Argos refurbished one but (obviously) do have a careful read through the ad first if you did go for it as I've only done a quick search!

Thanks Merv. I bought a "refurbed":encouragement: DAB radio which was rubbish, but I would think an Argos re-furb with 6 months warranty, especially if bought with Paypal would be bomb proof.

That was my thinking really. Not sure how long I've had it now, certainly over a Year though and no issues so far (said whilst frantically clinging onto nearest piece of timber!)
