RYA site says to cruise the schelde and inland waterways you have to have an almanac that's only available in Dutch. Anyone done this? Where do you get one? Do the local plod insist?

available @ some swindleries but muck cheaper on arrival.

What you need to have is the "ANWB Wateralmanak Deel 1".
Standard price in the Netherlands is € 16,50, available at most chandleries.
At this price I would not take the chance and it is always nice to have a book you can't read!
