I hear that the Navy could possibly be put on standby again to rescue our citizens from across the channel.
Could HMG soon be asking for all small vessel owners to volunteer (as per the 1940 Dunkirk Spirit) to go in their "little ships" across the channel and "rescue" thousands of our stranded troops (tourists) from the ash defeated hell of the beaches of France?
And would HMG pay for the fuel and waive HM Customs inspections or, would the valiant attempt be swallowed up in a sea of Red Tape and H & S directives?
Could be interesting time ahead - shame I no longer have a boat
