Had a lazy day floating down Conwy river in the tender today. I'm forbidden to take the boat out but admiral said nothing abount the tender while I convalescence. So picnic hamper in hand I went 5 odd miles up river , switched off and drifted down to the estuary.
Unfortunately I wasn't as strong as I thought I would be and dropped the OB into the estuary transferring it back onto the boat. Fished it out within a few seconds as I keep it tethered when transferring on a short line to the swim platform
It's a 8hp 2stroke. I removed the plugs. Cranked it over a few times and then drowned it in ACF50 bebore cranking over a few times more. Being a 2 stroke is it liable to survive this, or do I need to get it back for a strip down? Didn't have the strength or will to try putting it back on the tender to see if it'll start.
A pleasant day otherwise
