Dufour 2800

Hello good afternoon. do any of the group members have a 2800 dufour - 1978 ?
i have one, i bought it recently.
he had no propeller, the former owner lost in navigation.
Now I can't get to know the propeller features to buy one. Can someone help me? thanks

Your best route is to contact a propeller supplier for their advice. If you are in the UK I can recommend Sillette and T Norris, both will advise what you need for your boat and supply you.

Is there a Dufour Owners Association in Portugal/EU ? Usually very good info available, and usually cheap to join. There is a UK one but not sure about Europe.

The propeller size will depend on the engine and gearbox fitted to your boat and I expect that Dufour fitted different types at different times. Many boats will also have been re-engined by now.

To get an idea of the size that might be suitable for your specific boat, enter the details in this link

However if you are buying a new propeller then ask your supplier to recommend the size. The two links in post#2 will do this for you and will ship a propeller to you. Make sure you measure the shaft size correctly as it will be either 25mm or 1" and it is critical that you gat it right because the tapers are different.
