Dud oil sensor contact, what spare parts would you carry ?

Choosing what parts to carry will always be a compromise (for me) as space on board is limited. However, I don't restrict myself to parts that I can fit at sea, I also consider what parts could I fit back at the marina and what parts could I have that would reduce costs if I need to get a professional to fit them. Anyhow, this is what I carry for our boat (Targa 34 KAD44):

Three sets of primary fuel filters plus one set of engine fuel filters
Four drive trim relays (the cheap £8 non OEM ones)
Two sets of belts (removed at last service)
Four impellors (removed at previous services)
A set of HEP2O domestic water system fittings (I don't carry the pipes as assume these could be sourced locally)
A bilge pump float switch (Attwood)

Tool wise I have gone for quality over quantity but have limited myself to metric sizes as that's what's used on the engine (the outdrives are imperial but I'm unlikely to be touching them so don't have any imperial sockets / spanners on board).

So I have one high quality 200 piece tooI kit plus a second tool box containing boating essentials (hammer, hack saw, adjustable spanner, stanley knife, cable ties, various types of tape, etc).

I also have various lotions and potions such as contact cleaner, PTFT spray, Vaseline, grease, Sika, Marine 16, etc.

Electric wise I have a really small multi-meter but don't have a soldering iron (can't decide about that one).

The spares I'd like to add are a joker valve for the bog, a thermostat for the fridge and a selection of 316 nuts bolts, washers and self tappers.

Unless your on the water is very calm indeed then I wouldn't try any repairs unless absolutely essential to get you home on a smaller boat and so I wouldnt carry other than those essentials. Given you are unlikely to end up very far from a VP supplier I am not a believer in overstocking !
Last year for example off west coast of France I had some tiny bit of VP air intake hose split. Was sent overnight from main VP depot 100 km away.
I ve had both supercharger clutches go while away...part flown in to CIs on one instance and fixed same day by VP on another.
Numerous VP parts broken while cruising away..it is all available very easily..though that bit of hose did put my French to the limit?

I carry the following:-

-spare fuel filter
-cable ties
-insulation tape
-fuses
-various electrical connectors and. Lengths of cable.
-ratchet socket set
-spanner set
-allen key set
-electrical multimeter
-wd40
-electrical contact cleaner
-leatherman multitool (knife ,pliers etc)
-set of screwdrivers
-few litres of engine oil
-litre of power steering /hydraulic fluid
-Various jubilee clips
-Various nuts and bolts

I really should add a set of belts, but thats about it for me (volvo penta d4).

I've never needed any of it when out on the water though.

Edited to add: actually I did once need the socket set on the previous boat, when the thermostat failed closed and caused an overheat, I was able to unbolt the thermostat housing and remove the themostat.

I've got a 12V soldering iron, thought it was a good thing to have, but I've never used it!

For breakdown repairs crimps or chocolate blocks should be all you need.

The rest of your list looks good BTW, although I'd say spare bolts in 316 is a bit over the top if we're talking about temporary repairs.
