Duckboard for lockers?

Our cockpit lockers (against the transom) are part of the drainage system for the cockpit area, consequently any thing on the floor of the lockers gets wet.

Has anyone else had this problem and managed to repurpose anything as “duckboards” to keep items out of the water?

Years ago I bought tiles to do just this from WestMarine. They are about 1 foot square interlocking tiles in a flexible plastic that were a grid raised a little off the locker on small plastic pillars.

Unfortunately we can't get on to the WestMarine website these days to see if they still supply them.

Cut the bottoms off some plastic milk crates. perfect for that job.

Result. Thought about some sort of plastic or rubber mat with honeycomb pattern. Tried B&Q but not quite right. Went into Home Bargains on same retail park and they were selling 45cm square decking tiles identical the ones in Dingy Mans post selling for £2.99. Had to cut them down a little but perfect. 5 year guarantee too.

I use locker room flooring for mine. It is brilliant and everything stays dry. Also use it under the fly steps where all the junk get stored
