Event: The Great British Duck Race
Directions for navigation and general information during this event:
•
Molesey Lock will be closed to all river traffic between the times shown above
•
All those in charge of boats should observe any directions given by Environment Agency officers.
•
All those in change of boats should be aware that they are responsible for avoiding collision and should use all available means appropriate to the circumstances and conditions to decide if there is a risk of immediate danger and avoid it. This may mean it is not possible to comply with the Thames Navigation Licensing and General Byelaws 1993.
The closure is for the safety of both event organisers and river users. We are sorry for any inconvenience it may cause.
