hi, have a 10m nelson motor vessel, want to add a second outside helm, have teleflex steering, plan to buy another unit for outside and connect to rudder arm. guess this should be o.k? but what about controls for hearth gearbox and perkins 4236. Is currently connected using morse controls, how do i connect extra morse controls for external steering please, is there an extra unit i can get to connect it all together? Advice appreciated many thank!

Not sure about the steering either, most dual control boats have hydraulic steering as far as I know, happy to be told I am an idiot though if not.

I would replace all the steering with hydraulic as this will give far better, smoother and lighter steering. If your current teleflex steering is the no-feedback type you will have to replace it anyway.
For gears/throttle you will need dual station adapters. There are various types but i prefer the Vetus version as it is simple and efficient.
