Anybody know of drying out posts in the Portsmouth area and who to book them with?

I have always thought Itchenor Piles to be one of the most attractively named yachting destinations.

'fraid to say that unless I am very much mistaken the grid has dissapeared as part of the 'improvements' at Campers.

I think in a recent pbo Tide height exercise mention was made of posts at the entrance to the Hamble near the HM office at Warsash.

There are some posts by Locks Sailing Club in Langstone Harbour. I believe they are owned by the Harbourmaster but I think their use is free. Alternatively the Harbourmaster has a scrubbing grid in Langstone.

Hardway Marine have a set in Gosport - just next door to hardway sailing club who themselves have a number of grids - but I don't know if they are available to non-members
