First they legislated about my shooting, then they are trying to stop me hunting, and now I can't be smelling of booze when I try to get away from smell of burning cattle.

I have rarely had any problems with drinking on the waterways. In all my years of boating I have never seen an accident attributal to alcohol. Inexperience yes. But I always think that if a child with supervision can steer a boat what is the problem? I'ts legal and the fact I can leave my wheel for a few seconds to get something from my cabin leaving the boat to carry on in controlled circumstances must speak for itself. You can't do that in a car can you? It is not the same as driving a car.
