I want to semi-retire to the med, (maybe croatia) within the next couple of years and maybe start a part time charter business. I would be greatful for any advice or idea's on the best way to go about it. Including type of yacht, and sailing area's

your biggest problem is likely to be the locals who don't want outsiders muscling in on their trade.

Like the Canaries, if it can be done and there is money in it the locals will be doing it.
Lots of Germans there already.
