Dropped phone off boat, now even Sim won\'t work

Working on Pershilla on the hard standing at Watchet yesterday, dropped the phone onto the concrete and it burst into several pieces. Found the Sim and put it into several old phones at home and just kept getting them message "Insert Sim Card".
Will I be able to keep my old number if I have to get a new Sim? just had £600 of stationery printed with the number on.

Yes, you keep the same number with a new sim if your supplier sends a new one through, best tell them it's just stopped working rather than dropped it.

Only issue is losing all your numbers stored on it /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
