I have a friend who is far too rich/busy/important to waste time on things like this boat forum, who has a problem. His tap is dripping in the galley and there is no obvious route to finding the well hidden worn tap washer.
Any clues anybody or will he buying some outrageously overpriced new tap assembly, which must by law have "Fairline" on it in order to work properly.?

Why doesn't he just buy a new boat if he's that important and wealthy and i'll take his old one off his hands for a modest price

he will need to get is boat taken out the water and left on the hard for a month to dry out...then you can locate the dripping tap washer,it should be the 3rd seacock from the back....

I would have thought a word with the MD at Fairline over a round of golf would have seen "a man" on his way with the requisite spare opart and tools for fitting.

Seriously try

the answer to the problom is blatently obvious !!!!!!!!!!..........................just GIVE the boat to me, no more drip, no more worry, leaving him free to buy a dripless boat.....job done for the price of a fone call

A stressful time

It is always a heartwarming experience when ordinary "we are all in this together" boaters so generously give time to thinking about the troubles of the hard pressed Fairline owning classes who are finding life a bit of a trial at the moment.
A special group hug to to Jkay :)
