With all these depressed folk about I feel like an MBC therapist, anyway to cheer you up, I was in conversation with the local dealer at Pwlheli & learned that following SBS at least 4 Powerboat owners are making the switch to (decent size) ragpots. Out of 400 berths this is a 1% seasonal drift (4%annualised), just thought I would let you know so you can drift over without any mental distress. It seems you get alot more boat for your dosh when you drift over, and alot less depreciation as well. :-))
 
Ah! But another survey shows that this year for the first time ever more new stinkies were being sold than new raggies.

I've seen lots of raggies and lots of stinkpots ... but stinkrags ...... few and far between ........... phew. /forums/images/icons/cool.gif

a strange phenomenon for which there can be no logical explanation:-) I did omit to mention that they have just opened up in the south coast to sell more stinkpots, I wonder if they include Jetskis, wetbikes etc in the figures?

Now there's a thought. Frankly I don't know, the figures came from a Broker I know who had sent his staff away on a Course.
