Henry's post regarding the boatshow boats has got me thinking.

We only have a under counter fridge in the galley, with a counter top loading freezer coming next season. I have no space to fit a full height fridge even if I had the ability to make new cabinetry. Henry is right that squatting down and peering into the gloom in the galley isn't fun and usually ends up with half the contents of the fridge displaced on the galley floor.

Does anyone know if there is direct replacement self contained fridge units that have draws instead of a door - either 1 or 2?

I installed the Waeco CD30 last year specifically to use as a bottle fridge to relieve the main fridge.

Very happy with it, wouldn't be without it now.

They are beautiful things bjb and I have two of them (ie 4 drawers) in my galley. Being American, they work really well. But they are big monsters and you have to get lucky to find space for them which is why I didn't mention them in this thread. Also you can add a wooden door to make them blend in to the boat's cabinet work. They're at the back of this picture, under the white/silver hob.
