Hello. Has anyone come up with a clever way to fit one of these Drainman pumps that doesn't rely on the mooring rope?
I remember reading a post from ages ago where someone said you could maybe rig them via a bucket overboard....but there were no posts after that so Im afraid maybe all those that wrote and followed that post are no longer able to write due to submersion

I'm a bit wary of useing the pump attachment as the main holding rope.
One option would be to have a "safety" line connecting either side but I think that might interference with the operation of the drainman?
Any views much appreciated, I will try it out and if it works I will come back with a solution. If you hear nothing, then unfortunately I will have joined the submerged!
