DPM - message TV chart plotter

Hi.

I am having a problem with linking the chart plotter PC to the TV.

Computer to VGA Splitter to KVMP Switch to television.

When I plug the tv VGA/pc directly into my laptop it works.

When I do the main setup it gives me a DPM ((Power management) message. When I disconnect the VGA cable it says 'No Signal'

Anyone have any ideas?

Think you may need to provide a bit more information.

From what I understand you have:

and that doesn't work

BUT:

This does?

So either there is something odd with the KVM switch Or it can't handle the VGA thats being passed through it - frequency, pixels something like that?

Must be missing something - whats the point of the KVM switch?

Thanks for the input your right something was wrong with the switch. I plugged in a new one and it just worked so lightning killed the switch too (we have 5) so wiring nightmare o. First look but no room to wire them, so took ages.

All done now
