Hi All,
my DPH-A sterndrive on one side doesn't work as expected. The trim pump is running once pressing up or down but it only lifts the drive slowly and with less pressure then the other. Any ideas where to start the trouble shooting ?
- up / down both engage the pump
- pump noise similar to working trim
- red fluid full to the max marker or close about
- no leaks inside / or oil in water found
- getting the drive up (high pressure ? ) seem to be easier then getting the drive completely lowered again , for example it might stay for seconds on 1degree instead of lowering until it even throughs an error.
I can replace the motor but I am thinking these motors are not sophisticated - they either work or not, I think the problem therefore needs to be with the pump mechanic / pressure plates etc.
Thanks,
