Dp-g drive help

Hi - my question is there a washer/spacer that goes between the anode end and the first prop or does the prop just rest against the collar on the shaft?
There is a like a splined spacer at that end inside the prop is this the one that is shown in the volvo manual?

Yes, it is normally wedged inside the prop, sometimes it falls out.
