Hi All,

Thanks for all your patience and replies while i try to get my boat running following a load of work (New Transom Shield, Refurbished Drives and Engine)

Todays problem - My Power Trim.

Current Status: After replacing the helm switch, i can now get the legs to move and they are down, i think this was why it struggled to plane when i first took it out.

Problem: Both sides are leaking hydraulic fluid from the pump, on the connectors to the pump, they are certainly hand tight and i haven’t tried to nip them up yet. Also, when i push the down arrow at the helm the PS will move UP (Towards beach position) and the Starboard will TRIM down to the running position. Neither has the sensor installed yet, its just loose at the back somewhere. I did wonder if the hoses could be the wrong way as i read something in the manual about a high and low pressure side

Thanks for any replies - I am in touch with the engineer but he’s not available At short notice so trying to sort myself while i wait.

the connectors def need to be done up with a spanner
i replaced my pump a few years ago and had issues with the connectors not sealing due to thread differences, took the pump to a hydraulic specialist, that fixed the issue
Anglia Hose & Hydraulics Ltd, the shed looks a joke, same with the drive, but they know their stuff :)
no point calling them, you gotta go in

Nipped them up, they weren’t tight and now the legs go up and down with no leak and also full range of motion. The controls being the wrong way seems to be be the connector blocks to the relays having been swapped in the past when the leg only moved one way.

Just need to work out where the sensor plug goes now, seem it on a diagram but cant seem to feel/see where it is…….one thing at a time tho….
