Dorney Rowing and the Bray-Boveney stretch

Was looking at Google Earth and wondered about the proximity of Dorney Lake to the marinas at Bray and Windsor.

This aerial view really does bring home how close the river is to the Olympic rowing venue !

You can see that if the organisers are "paranoid" about security, as they are about navigating around the Lee and Bow Back Rivers during the main events, then it's quite possible that they may be river clusores on the Thames as well.

We shall have to see.

(By paranoid I'm meaning taking a "robust approach" or "concerned" - whatever).
