Doral & Removing the Windlass

Gurus,

Has anyone had to replace a Quick aries on a Doral? Having removed the four studs from the Aries windlass below deck, I've been unable to budge the old bugger to get the new one in. I'm not able to get access visually into the anchor's wetlocker but I know i've got all the nuts off the studs. I've tried a couple of gentle knocks with a hammer but it all seems seized on....

Any ideas or advice before I contact Navigators in Chi to get 'er done for me would be much appreciated.

Probably sealant around the securing bolts, perhaps even some epoxy was used.

Have you had a look with a small mirror?
