Gosh, what a proud dad you must be! lovely account, thank you.
My son is also keen to get his hands on my Contessa 26 when she is launched next month, I hope we will have as much fun with ours as you do with yours.

Re: Don\'t lend your son your boat.....

Well done to him. Shame he had to do it in such a pile of unreliable crap belonging to his dad /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

My Dad used to tick like a clock when I asked to borrow his motorbike.

You are a Prince among Men.

I don't think Jarvis is going to become a Health and Safety Officer, which is a relief.

Re: Don\'t lend your son your boat.....

Thats an excellent read.
S'funny how thrashing the old mans boat a bit is less contentious than borrowing the family car on a Friday night..
But seriously . Well done on your confidence and faith in him and the boat to set up such a unique and valuable learning experience.

Re: Don\'t lend your son your boat.....

Just read on the train home the story of the Contessa 26 in ST, seems like they get around abit. Good to see that the youngsters can still get hold of a boat from there old man. Thank goodness my daughter is only 5 years old !!
