We are still waiting to hear from RNLI but assume a noonish time for a talk if there is one with lunch ashore and a BBQ in the evening.

I gave the RNLI a dig yesterday. Looks like Burnham cant come, as it is Burnham Carnival which they are attending, but Ian was going to ring the West Mersea boat today.

Anyway we've finally managed to arrange a dogsitter for the weekend so weather permitting we'll be along. If it's too windy to leave our berth (which is causing us a few problems at the moment) we'll come by land for the RNLI talk and any other things we can take part in. Hopefully the weather will be like today though - we cycled to Tiptree and had lunch at the jam factory. Warm, sunny, lovely day. They better not back out - we've asked the RNLI to come (yet to be confirmed) and look a bit daft if only 6 turn up!
