All safely rescued after almost going over the dam in Texas.
I can imagine this will haunt their dreams for a good few months/years to come.
Land of the free and all that, but why isn't there some sort of barrier to stop it happening all the time?

I remember the old Admiralty Sailing Instructions about a lee shore. "Never get caught off a lee shore".

Easy enough, I suppose, for the engine to cut out at the wrong moment, or perhaps the driver was trying to park the boat....
