Domestic water pump seeping

It’s been reassembled with an air leak .
So it can,t suck ie develop a vacuum to the tank cos airs pouring in ,

Before removing it again you could run it and with sticky tape systematically start to cover suspect areas to attempt to seal the “air vent “ that’s preventing the suck .

Nope, don’t buy this one. The pump has 3 connections, in from the tank, out to the taps/heads and the accumulator. None of the pipes were disturbed. I will try a vac pump on the bleed hose.

Take the feed pipe off the tank and fill with water with the vent screw out. When water is coming out of vent then refit vent screw. The re-connect feed pipe to tank and turn on pump.

I’m going to try a vac pump on the bleed screw. The access to the tank is quite challenging.

Just to conclude, all fixed. Eventually the system primed itself.
Fixings are old Hep 20. I have bought all EBay spares I can find. If anyone needs one, I might be able to help.
Will try and find a spare AMFA pump, but I think the company has stopped trading? Maybe MapisM can assist?

Sorry P, but I'm afraid it won't be easy to find any spare parts.
Aside from not being a supplier I was already aware of, I just googled for it and only found some old references, all pointing to the following whereabouts:

A.M.F.A. Pompe Srl
Via Palmero, 188
10091 Alpignano (TO)
Tel.: 0119662630/0119671399
E-mail: info@amfapompe.com - Web: www.amfapompe.com

But the website shows a generic page, which among other useless stuff says that the domain is for sale.
I also rang both the above phone numbers, but only got a network message telling that the number is not active.

Maybe if you can find the specific model name/code you could try a specific search and see if there are any dealers/shops which still have one on stock…
Should you find anything in IT, I'm happy to help - just ask.

P you are a gentleman, many thanks. I will try googling the AMFA spec and see what returns. Will also look at other pumps as back up. I have a Jabsco, but it has very different fittings.
