Domestic battery connection cables

I am going to extend my battery domestic bank to x3 110aH batteries (using method 2) so would 25mm2 or 35mm2 cable be OK.

It depends on the max current and the length of the cables.

Id think those sizes are more than adequate for a domestic bank but will you have provision to use the domestic bank for engine starting. If so what current will your starter draw ?

Why not use the same size cable as the existing?

Mine are 25mm2, same battery size and number as yours but the total cable length is only about a metre. They start the engine easily without warming the cables.

I have the big cables going to the first domestic just thought I could save a few pennies on the remaining ones. My shopping list is quite long!
